SANDY CHRISTIANSEN

FERTILITY COACH

Welcome!

I’m Sandy, Clinical Embryologist and Fertility Coach. Having worked in IVF for 10 years, I’ve often offered fertility support to friends and have come to see a large gap in the treatment. IVF can be monumentally overwhelming and while the main focus of every clinic is to get you pregnant, some don’t have the capacity to give you the guidance you may need along the way.

One way of getting that extra support is through fertility coaching. A fertility coach can guide you through fertility and infertility, provide IVF treatment guidance and help alleviate the isolation that can come with fertility issues.

I offer one on one sessions to my clients, but as the Lead Fertility coach at Béa Fertility - I run free group sessions. Find out more here.

IVF in plain English

We know how hard it can be to find reliable and fact-based information when preparing for a cycle of IVF. That’s why I’ve teamed up with Kristen to bring you this online course with valuable resources to help you navigate IVF.

The Egg Freezing course

Egg freezing has been available for years and was initially introduced for fertility preservation purposes, for example before cancer treatment. In recent years, it’s become more common among those who want to have children in the future, but aren’t quite ready yet, like an insurance policy. In the past year we’ve seen a large increase in egg freezing cycles and in people seeking information and support regarding egg freezing. That’s why I’ve created this affordable 20 minute course, to make things easy for you! Find out more and access a free preview here:

How can I help you?

If you’ve been struggling to conceive or you’re about to embark on an IVF treatment, fertility coaching can be what you need. Fertility coaching gives you the opportunity to focus exclusively on yourself, in a safe and confidential environment where you can express any worries or concerns and regain your confidence. Whether you need help working through your emotions or preparing for an IVF cycle, I’m here to help. With my training and experience in close patient contact and scientific expertise I can help support and guide you through your journey.

What is infertility?

If you’ve been struggling to conceive it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. Recent studies have shown that infertility affects an estimated 1 in 7 heterosexual couples. Patients going through fertility challenges have expressed feelings of depression and isolation. These feelings can be caused by emotional stress, social pressure and financial pressure.

How did I become a fertility coach?

My experience as an embryologist has led me to become a fertility coach as I often felt patients needed extra support that wasn’t always readily available. When working in a laboratory - the clinical work must always come first. Since becoming a fertility coach I’ve been able to help women, men and couples work through their IVF journeys, giving them the extra support they need, and helped them feel better about themselves on the way.

How do our coaching sessions work?

I’m based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, and I offer remote sessions over the phone or via zoom at your convenience. Get in touch now to arrange a free 15 minute call and we can discuss how fertility coaching can help you.
